Dominique My

After having finished her studies at the Paris Conservatory, Dominique My was asked by Rolf
Liebermann to join the Paris Opera as their vocal director. She held this position from 1980
to 1982. Dominique My founded the "Ensemble Fa" and has served as its musical director and
conductor since 1987.
Her conducting career has included directing groups such as the Radio France Philharmonic
Orchestra, the Belgian Philharmonic, La Philharmonie de Lorraine, Metz and Rouen operas,
the Australian ensemble Elision, the Stuttgart Südfunk Choir, Klang-Forum and Ensemble
Modern.
In addition to her activities as head of the "Ensemble Fa", Dominique My was also guest
conducter for Radio France and she was regularly invited to perform at some of the largest
European music festivals. Her repertoire will expand to include theatre and vocal works,
some new and some already in the contemporary music repertoire.
